We're looking for an experienced Excavator Operator. This role requires someone with strong leadership skills, the ability to make decisions in the field, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and workmanship.

About our company:

We are a small but rapidly growing land clearing and site work company with a tight-knit team of 8 onsite employees. In business for four years, we take great pride in delivering high-quality work for our clients. Our yard is located in Hampstead, NC, and serves as the meeting point each morning at 6:30 am. We work Monday through Friday, 10-12 hours a day, with guaranteed overtime. The owners are hands-on and committed to building a team of trustworthy, hardworking individuals who want to grow alongside the company.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate excavators safely and efficiently Perform land clearing Accurately use laser transit to read and set elevations Read and follow site plans and grade stakes Conduct routine equipment checks and basic maintenance Maintain a clean and safe worksite Collaborate with site foreman and crew to meet project timelines

Requirements:

2+ years experience as an excavator operator for a land clearing business or similar. Strong working knowledge of laser transits and setting elevations Ability to interpret site layouts and grading plans Reliable transportation and valid driver's license Attention to safety and detail on all job sites Strong work ethic, punctuality, and communication skills
