Experienced House Cleaner — 1099 Independent Contractor

Uplevel Cleaning is hiring experienced house cleaners as 1099 independent contractors in Alameda County. This is NOT an hourly employee position. You run your own work — you bring your own supplies, choose which jobs you accept, and get paid per job. If you're looking for a fixed hourly wage with company-provided equipment, this isn't the right fit, and that's okay. We clean upper-middle and luxury homes, Airbnb/short-term rentals, and small commercial properties. Our standard is high, our clients expect detail, and we pay out every week. You must have all of these — no exceptions: 2+ years of paid, professional house cleaning experience Your own cleaning supplies and equipment A reliable vehicle and valid driver's license (you'll drive to homes across Alameda County) Willingness to pass a background check (we use Checkr — required before any job) Ability to communicate clearly in English with clients and our team Authorization to work in the U.S. as a 1099 independent contractor The work: Standard, deep, move-in/move-out, post-construction, and Airbnb turnover cleans Premium residential homes plus select small-commercial and short-term-rental properties Follow our quality checklist and document each job with before/after photos Accept the jobs that fit your schedule — decline the ones that don't How you get paid: Revenue share on every completed job — your pay scales with the size and type of clean (larger homes and deep/move-out jobs pay more) You keep 100% of your tips Paid weekly via Zelle or Venmo As an independent contractor, you're free to work with other clients or companies Why cleaners choose
