EXPERIENCED INSULATION - WEATHERIZATION CREW CHIEF

About the Role 5C Energy, Inc. is seeking a motivated and experienced Insulation Crew Chief to join our growing team. This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for managing insulation crews and ensuring quality workmanship in residential and commercial settings. What You'll Do Lead a team of 3-6 insulation installers Set the standard by working alongside your crew Communicate job details with homeowners and inspectors Install various types of insulation: loose-fill, batt, foam board, spray foam, etc. Air seal attics, basements, and crawl spaces Install roof, soffit, and gable ventilation Weather-strip doors and windows to reduce energy loss Wrap air ducts and water lines Operate hand and power tools to create access for insulation Maintain job documentation and submit work orders for payment Clean and maintain tools and equipment Troubleshoot and resolve jobsite issues or barriers to completion Some overnight travel What We're Looking For Minimum 5 years Crew Chief Experience Proven experience leading a crew of 3-6 individuals Past experience working with large installation teams (25+ installers a plus) Ability to work in extreme temperatures, confined spaces, and at heights Able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly Strong communication and leadership skills Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license Must pass a background check and drug screening Current Crew Chief Certification Current Lead Safe Renovator Certification
