Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Lawn Care Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for landscaping and lawn maintenance, with a strong understanding of horticulture and the ability to operate various tools and equipment. This role involves providing high-quality lawn care services, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining the aesthetic appeal of outdoor spaces. Duties Perform regular lawn care tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging to maintain healthy grass and landscapes. Execute landscape maintenance activities such as planting, weeding, and mulching to enhance the beauty of gardens and yards. Operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery including excavators for various landscaping projects. Conduct tree care services including tree trimming and removal as needed. Implement irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of lawns and gardens. Assist with snow plowing during winter months to keep driveways and walkways clear. Maintain equipment in good working condition through regular inspections and repairs. Collaborate with team members on larger landscaping projects, including hardscape installations. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge for operating and maintaining landscaping equipment. Proficiency in lawn care techniques and landscape maintenance practices. Experience with gardening, horticulture, and tree care methods. Familiarity with irrigation systems and their installation/maintenance. Ability to operate heavy machinery such as excavators safely. Knowledge of hardscape installation techniques is a plus. Competence in using hand tools and power tools effectively. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to quality work.
