Experienced Line Cook

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team at a newly opened brewpub in Oberlin, OH. Two years of experience as a line cook is required. This cooking role is essential for maintaining the high standards of our kitchen and ensuring that all food preparation meets our quality expectations. Duties Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and measuring. Assist in the cooking process by following recipes and instructions from the head chef. Operate kitchen equipment (pizza oven, grills, ovens, fryer) Set up, stock, and close down assigned stations with all necessary supplies. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations. Ensure proper food handling and safety procedures are followed at all times. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods. Requirements Minimum 2 years experience as a Line Cook in a restaurant or catering environment is required. Night and weekend availability Knowledge of food preparation techniques and safe food handling practices. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen setting. Proven experience as a line cook Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Familiarity with fine dining standards is a plus. Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff. A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new techniques and recipes.
