Job Description

Line Cook Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team at our restaurant White Buffalo and in-house catering operation located in Chipeta Lodge Resort + Spa. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking and a commitment to creating memorable dining experiences for our guests. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food to the highest standards, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, and working collaboratively with the culinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to the restaurant's recipes and standards. Assist with the preparation of ingredients and mise en place for the menu. Ensure that food is cooked and presented in an appealing and timely manner. Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen areas. Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines. Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies as needed. Communicate effectively with the culinary team and front-of-house staff. Participate in daily kitchen operations, including opening and closing duties. Adapt to changing menus and seasonal ingredients. Handle and store food properly to minimize waste.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role. Culinary school diploma or equivalent experience preferred. Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, and equipment. Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment. Strong attention to detail and creativity. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Strong communication skills. Commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and food safety. $18
