Experienced Medical Assistant/Front Desk - Dripping Springs

Selected person will cover the Dripping Springs and Marble Falls clinics. Medical practice focused on providing the highest level of customer service to their patients seeks experienced medical assistant that can function as medical assistant and also cover the front desk when needed. The environment is fast-paced, and the culture is patient-focused and employee-friendly. Candidate must have previous experience in patient check-in and registration and be knowledgeable about medical insurance plans. Responsibilities include rooming patients, assisting the provider, answering multiple phone lines, scheduling appointments, processing payments, patient registration, electronic charting, data entry of patient information, and assisting where needed within the front office or clinic area. Successful candidate must have excellent organizational and interpersonal skills coupled with strong communication skills to successfully interact with patients, physicians, and co-workers. This position requires a friendly personality and a calm demeanor in order to communicate effectively with patients. Spanish language is required.
