Experienced Security Alarm Installer & Entry Level Installers/Trainees

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Experienced Security Installer to join our dynamic team! As an Installer, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of a wide range of security and telecommunication systems. Your expertise will ensure that clients receive seamless, reliable solutions tailored to their needs. Duties Install, service and maintenance of all types of Security Alarms, CCTV and Access Control Systems. Perform cabling, low voltage wiring, and electrical connections adhering to NEC (National Electrical Code) standards and safety protocols. Utilize hand tools and power tools efficiently for mounting equipment, running cables, and making precise adjustments. Work sites are residential, commercial, and industrial. Provide recommendations for security enhancements or upgrades. Document installation procedures, system configurations, schematics, and service reports accurately for future reference. Qualifications Proven experience as a service technician or installer in security systems or related fields such as construction or telecommunications. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience working with power tools, hand tools, and construction materials. Familiarity with computer networking concepts, low voltage wiring practices, and electrical systems. Knowledge of surveillance technology including CCTV cameras, sensors, alarm systems, fire alarms, and remote access software. Experience a plus with IDS (Intrusion Detection Systems), security system integration, and system troubleshooting. Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to resolving technical issues on-site. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to travel frequently for field service assignments.
