Duties Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere from the moment they arrive Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, and relay orders promptly to kitchen staff Provide detailed descriptions of menu items, including daily specials and wine pairings, to enhance guest experience through upselling techniques Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving issues swiftly, and ensuring overall satisfaction throughout their visit Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems and perform basic math calculations for bills and tips Maintain sanitation standards by adhering to food safety protocols, proper food handling procedures, and restaurant sanitation guidelines Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs or upscale venues Strong knowledge of POS systems like Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for reservations management Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that fosters guest loyalty Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing time effectively Culinary experience or kitchen knowledge that supports food preparation and service excellence Upselling skills to maximize sales opportunities while enhancing the guest experience Familiarity with food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Experience in bussing tables, host/hostess duties, or guest services roles is highly valued Basic math skills for cash handling and bill calculations; proficiency in cashiering is a plus Strong communication skills to coordinate seamlessly with kitchen staff and team members Join us if you're passionate about delivering memorable dining experiences!
