$22 - $27 per hour (based on experience) About the Job Abel Lumber is hiring experienced trim carpenters to service our network of homebuilders across the DFW Metroplex. If you take pride in clean, tight, finish-quality work and want steady, year-round work with a respected lumber supplier, we want to hear from you. You'll be running doors and trim in new construction homes for some of the top builders in the area. Work is consistent, the pace is steady, and we keep our crews busy. What You'll Be Doing Hanging interior and exterior doors (pre-hung and slab) Installing base, casing, crown, and other trim packages Running stair parts, mantles, and built-ins as needed Reading builder specs and trim schedules accurately Maintaining a clean, safe jobsite and protecting finished work Communicating with builders and superintendents on punch items What We're Looking For Minimum 3 years of trim carpentry experience (5+ preferred) Strong familiarity with doors and interior trim packages in new residential construction Ability to read plans and trim schedules Own reliable hand tools and finish nailers Valid driver's license and clean driving record (you'll be moving between jobsites across DFW) Reliable transportation to jobsites Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus, not required What We Offer Competitive pay: $22 - $27/hr DOE Steady, year-round work — no slow seasons Established builder relationships = consistent jobs Opportunity to grow with a well-respected DFW supplier Friendly, professional crew How to Apply Apply through this listing or send us a quick note about your experience — what builders you've worked with, what kind of trim packages you've run, and how many years you've been swinging a hammer.
