Exploration Geologist

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Geologist to support on-site operations for one of our valued mining clients. This role requires strong technical capabilities, solid field experience, and the ability to work independently in fast-paced mining environments. The successful candidate will contribute to high-quality geological data collection, core logging, modeling, and interpretation while maintaining a strong commitment to safety and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Work safely and responsibly at all times, proactively identifying and mitigating risks to self and others. Follow all verbal and written work instructions, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and safety guidelines. Safely operate on-road and off-road vehicles in varying site conditions. Properly use and maintain required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Identify, report, and help control any safety or environmental hazards. Perform detailed core logging, sampling, and geotechnical measurements with accuracy and consistency. Compile, interpret, and validate mapping, drilling, and assay data within 3D geological software. Correlate new data with existing geological models and assist in updating interpretations. Support geologic mapping programs, field verification, and data QA/QC. Communicate findings effectively with supervisors, geologists, and operations teams. Provide guidance to junior staff when needed and contribute to team-based problem solving. Qualifications B.S. in Geology, Earth Sciences, or a related field. 2-5 years of geology experience, ideally within mining or mineral exploration. Working knowledge of siliciclastic depositional environments and Skarn Cu/Au mineralization within porphyry-style systems. Strong organizational skills, self-motivation, and the ability to manage tasks independently. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs throughout the workday. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Willingness to work in field or mine-site environments in Nevada and Idaho and on rotational schedules if required What We Offer Competitive pay (DOE) and per diem. PPE allowance.
