Job Description
Job Summary Jackson Hall is looking for a full-time expo in the kitchen that has experience. This is a high volume restaurant. Looking for 55 hours per week with overtime. you also make tips. Weekly pay will range between $1200-$1500. For immediate interview and immediate hire. We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Expo/Food Runner to join our dynamic hospitality team! In this vital role, you will serve as the essential link between the kitchen and front-of-house, ensuring that food reaches guests promptly, accurately, and with a smile. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a seamless dining experience that delights every guest. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in food service, customer interaction, and hospitality operations in a lively, fast-paced environment. Paid training is provided to help you succeed and grow within our team. Responsibilities Deliver freshly prepared dishes from the kitchen to tables efficiently while maintaining food quality and presentation standards Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including plating and garnishing to ensure dishes are visually appealing Support the serving staff by bussing tables, refilling beverages, and ensuring guest needs are met promptly Handle food handling responsibilities safely and in accordance with food safety regulations Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order accuracy and efficient billing processes Communicate clearly with kitchen staff about special requests, dietary restrictions, or order modifications Maintain cleanliness in service areas, including clearing plates and resetting tables for new guests Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key! Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety standards necessary for maintaining hygiene and quality Experience with serving, bussing, or supporting restaurant operations highly desirable Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with kitchen staff and front-of-house team Ability to stand for extended periods, walk quickly between tables, and lift moderate loads when needed Hospitality or hotel experience is advantageous but not mandatory; a positive attitude and eagerness to provide excellent guest service are essential Join us to be part of a vibrant team committed to delivering memorable dining experiences!
