Extraction & Production Technician

Position Overview United Cultivation is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and motivated Extraction & Production Technician to support our growing cannabis manufacturing operation. You will work directly alongside our Lab Manager to maintain operational efficiency in extraction, post-processing, and general product manufacturing, while also taking direction from our Production Manager on packaging and finished-product tasks. This role is ideal for someone with some exposure to a cannabis lab or manufacturing environment who is eager to build hands-on skills in BHO extraction and cannabis production. We are looking for a team player who is ready to learn, contribute daily, and grow with the company. High performers can expect to take on more advanced responsibilities as we scale. General Requirements Cannabis industry or lab experience preferred (some exposure is ideal) Science background preferred Mechanical inclination or aptitude strongly preferred - comfortable troubleshooting basic equipment issues Butane Hash Oil (BHO) hydrocarbon extraction experience is a plus but not required Must maintain a clean and organized working environment at all times Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols Ability to work effectively in a team and follow SOPs Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and push up to 100 lbs Basic computer skills and ability to track data (METRC experience preferred) Ability to comply with daily PPE requirements Must pass Cannabis Control Commission background check Key Responsibilities Assist in the daily operation of our BHO extractor while strictly following C1D1 safety protocols Support preparation, cleaning, and packing of extraction socks Maintain consumables and lab supplies at required levels Perform routine cleaning of glassware, equipment, and workspace Assist with biomass preparation and staging Help with winterizing, filtering, and basic post-processing tasks Provide general support on rotary evaporators, wiped-film distillation, and other production equipment Assist with packaging of finished goods and other production tasks as directed by the Production Manager Complete additional duties as assigned to keep operations running smoothly

Pay:

$22.00 - $25.00 per hour
