• We have an open position for Extruder Operator, this is on second shift from 7:00pm
• 7:30pm, Monday
• Friday.

Day-to-day Job Duties Responsible for operating and maintaining machines that extrude or draw out elastomeric or poly ethylene pipes or hoses. Learn to operate machines that require some set up and decision making under supervision. Performs routine setups, adjustments, and troubleshooting. Executes the production plan with supervision. Performs operations with specific detailed instructions and directions. Proactively cleans and shuts down the machine. Ensures proper adjustment and ID, and wall thickness. Follows SOPs to ensure that product specifications are adhered to as related to product quality and packaging requirements. Will be required to perform all other duties as requested, directed, or assigned. Six (6) months of experience operating extruder machine a plus. Education and Experience High School Diploma or GED preferred. Prior manufacturing experience preferred.

High attention to detail. Ability to read, understand, and follow safety and SOP information. Ability to perform basic math calculations. Ability to communicate in a manufacturing environment. Possess the ability to work effectively with others. Safety mindset. Physical Demands Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift objects up to 55 lbs. Use fingers, hands, arms, and legs to lift, reach, push and pull. Will stand, walk, stoop, and kneel. Exposure to moving mechanical parts, heat, and loud noise.
