Job Description

F-15E Training Device Technician (Mid-Level or Senior)
Company:
Boeing Aerospace Operations Boeing Global Services (BGS) is currently hiring for broad range of experience for a F-15E Simulator Technician (Mid-Level or Senior) to support Engineering, Test, Evaluation, and Training Services at the Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada. This candidate will work directly with F-15E Aircrew and Instructor Pilots to ensure flight training devices are operational and available to meet the warfighter training needs.
Position Responsibilities:
Supports the operation and maintenance of stand-alone and networked F-15E training devices and associated visual systems and peripherals Perform operations, repairs, tests, installs, configurations, upgrades, and assists in the modification of simulators and training components, devices, hardware, and software Performs general inspections for pre and post-operations and component handling of training devices, assemblies, and components Inspects components and/or Line‐Replaceable Units (LRUs) to verify status prior to installation Assist simulator technicians with operations, repairs, tests, installs, configuration changes and upgrades Assists instructors/aircrews during scheduled training missions Troubleshoots to isolate software, electrical, and/or mechanical faults and repair faulty components Performs logistical, administrative, and other collateral duties as necessary to maintain the training devices Performs administrative information technology security duties and works with local ISSO to maintain systems accreditation Works under minimal supervision Performs other duties as assigned by management Potential travel up to 10% Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Active Secret Clearance within the past 24 months Ability to obtain access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Programs 3+ years of experience in aircraft simulator training device maintenance and the operating systems, visual imagery, and display systems associated with flight simulators/training devices; or a minimum of (5) five years of aircraft avionics component maintenance and repair Computer hardware building skills, including hands-on hobbyist projects, hardware troubleshooting, and system assembly Experience with Windows and Linux based operating systems and computing network Must be able to lift to 35 pounds to a height of five feet Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): 5+ years of higher education and/or related work experience (Higher education includes college, university, technical school, licensing/certification programs, etc) (Level 4) Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility Associates degree or equivalent flight simulator, flightline avionics, electronic, and/or IT experience CompTIA Security+ Certification (or similar certification meeting DoD Directive 8140 Certification Requirements), and/or the ability to obtain post-hire Experience supporting the F-15 Program Experience working with the US Department of Defense (DoD)/Department of War (DoW) customers or international defense customers Strong interpersonal communication skills

Summary Pay Range Mid-Level (Level 3): $67,150 - $90,850 Summary Pay Range Senior Level (Level 4): $79,900 - $108,100
