Nicholas Meats is seeking hourly Fabrication Production Team Members! PayScale starts at $18.60/hr. and go up to $23.20/hr. Nicholas Meat was founded more than 30 years ago in the beautiful Sugar Valley of central Pennsylvania. Originally known as Nicholas Meat Packing Company, our humble beginnings continue to drive us today as we produce delicious beef products for our many customers who, in turn, provide beef to families in the U.S. and abroad. Nicholas Meats is hiring for quality, motivated, people to join the team on our Fabrication production floor as: Meat Deboners Meat Trimmers Bandsaw Operators Product Packers Pallet Operators •Applicants should be willing or capable of performing the following jobs in the plant: o Work in a colder area (20-30 degrees) o Work in areas that require you to lift, pull, or push 50 lbs. o Work with sharp knives or a cutting tool o Willing and capable of working overtime when necessary o Willing and capable of working in or around bloody areas o in a fast pace work environment o perform repetitive hand motions and body movements. o Physically demanding jobs may take 5 to 6 weeks for the body to fully adjust to the work conditions, work environment.

LIFTING/ PUSHING/PULLING

•10 lbs.•50 lbs. production

NEUTRAL WRIST

•Repetitive hand motions and grasping.

REACHING

•Reaching for product on the conveyor belt with hooks, reaching for boxes, or bags

STANDING

•Constant standing for 8 to 10 hours per day, 5 days a week Report to work every day at your scheduled start time. Follow all company policies and procedures. Follow supervisors and managers instructions. Have the ability to work with others, and get along with others. Work to the best of your abilities and have the desire to learn and grow.
