Job Description

About the Role As a CBRE Electrician, you will inspect, repair, and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment throughout assigned facilities, focusing on system reliability, safety, and operational continuity in highly regulated spaces. The position plays a key part in keeping critical scientific and production operations running smoothly by maintaining the infrastructure these environments depend on. This first shift, Monday-Friday role supports a pharmaceutical client by ensuring reliable, compliant, and uninterrupted electrical services across research, laboratory, stability storage, and pilot plant environments. What You'll Do Oversee electrical and lighting systems' general operation, repair, and maintenance. Perform new installations of equipment. Check, repair, and replace functional components of electrical and lighting systems. This includes valves, motors, controls, switches, gauges, wiring, fans, pumps, compressors, condensers, cores, and pipes. Assure that equipment is being maintained and operating in a safe manner. Review historical maintenance records to create proactive inspection, testing, and preventive maintenance schedules. Operate electrical test equipment—including volt/ohm meters, amp probes, power analyzers, and insulation testers—while following established testing procedures and accurately documenting all results. Maintain and repair electrical and electronic controls on complex systems, including HVAC equipment, variable speed controllers, lighting systems, and process equipment. Complete all regulatory training prior to conducting work. Perform all work activities utilizing the appropriate procedures to include GMP/GLP, organizations, department or local requirements. Perform all work utilizing the appropriate environmental regulations and policies. Complete appropriate documentation associated with maintenance activities. Manage individual ITP to ensure compliance.
