Job Description:
Maintenance Manager Our successful manufacturing client needs an experienced Maintenance Manager for their team! This full-time, direct-hire role will ensure all equipment functions smoothly and building and grounds are properly maintained. Responsibilities of the Maintenance Manager Manage, lead, and integrate workflow of Facilities and Maintenance staff Motivate and empower team members to deliver results against established goals and priorities Continuously improve the operation and drive innovation, including utilization of new technology and automation Collaborate with key partners to develop annual plans, budgets, headcount and labor plan, etc. Deliver a preventative maintenance program that optimizes production machinery performance and availability Maintain heating and HVAC systems, buildings, grounds, and equipment Manage vendor relationships; monitor and negotiate contracts to ensure competitive pricing and quality services Supervise contractors (security, cleaning, landscaping, snow removal, locksmiths, etc.) Maintain stock supply of equipment parts Champion EHS objectives Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives Qualifications of the Maintenance Manager Bachelor's degree in Engineering discipline required, MBA preferred Minimum 5-8 years of experience in plant maintenance/facilities management Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, effectively delegate, and supervise personnel in a fast-paced environment Demonstrated commitment to teamwork and internal client service orientation Effective written and verbal communication skills Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, pneumatic, machinery, and mechanical trades Strong analytical skills and in depth understanding of statistical probability Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); AutoCAD a plus Available for 24/7 requests related to all shift activities Understanding of food technology preferred Lean/Six Sigma Certification a plus We look forward to hearing from you about this Maintenance Manager opportunity!
