Facilities Maintenance Technician

Overview We are seeking a reliable and skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to ensure the upkeep, cleanliness, and overall functionality of our building. This role combines routine maintenance duties with daily janitorial responsibilities to maintain a safe, clean, and professional environment. Duties Perform routine inspections and maintenance of building systems, including electrical, mechanical, and plumbing components. Troubleshoot and repair equipment using schematics, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools. Complete daily janitorial duties, including:

• Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms
• Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors
• Cleaning common areas, offices, and high-touch surfaces
• Emptying trash and managing waste/recycling
• Restocking supplies such as paper products and soap Maintain cleanliness of exterior areas, including entrances and walkways.

Monitor and maintain building systems to ensure proper operations. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and facility needs. Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors when necessary. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company procedures. Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance records.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in facilities maintenance, janitorial, or a related field preferred. Basic knowledge of building systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC) Ability to safely use cleaning equipment and maintenance tools. Strong attention to detail and time management skills. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks. Physical ability to lift, carry, and perform manual labor as needed.

Working Conditions:

Requires standing, walking, bending and lifting for extended periods. Work performed indoors and outdoors in varying conditions

Pay:

From $20.00 per hour
