• Temporary Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team in this Full Time Temporary position.

The Temp position will begin May 18th to July 31st, 2026. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, safety, and upkeep of our housing facilities. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment for all tenants, staff and visitors. Experience Strong background in facilities maintenance, repair tools, lawn mower, vacuum, etc. Skills in troubleshooting and preventive maintenance to address and prevent equipment issues. Skilled in the ability to perform repairs safely and effectively. Basic understanding of safety regulations and compliance requirements Good communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and effectively manage tasks Previous experience in residential or facilities maintenance is a plus High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications are advantageous Must have a valid drivers license Responsibilities Perform routine and preventative maintenance on building systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical equipment. Provide excellent customer service by addressing internal tenant needs promptly and professionally. Clean various areas by mopping, vaccuming and manage preventive maintenance tasks. Proven experience in housing facilities maintenance or a related field. Proficiency in using tools such as lawn equipment, repair tools, vaccum cleaner, and and other equipment for troubleshooting repair issues. Basic understanding of safety regulations and compliance requirements. Ability to work independently and effectively manage tasks. Previous experience in residential or facilities maintenance is a plus. Excellent communication skills to coordinate tasks effectively across teams. High school deiploma or equivalent; technical certifications are advantageious.
