Facilities Maintenance Technician

About the Role We are looking for a dependable, hands-on individual to join our team as a Driver & Facilities Maintenance Technician . This position combines local driving responsibilities with general maintenance and handyman work across our facilities and equipment. Responsibilities Facilities & Maintenance:

• General handyman work (light carpentry, minor repairs, installations)
• Basic plumbing and electrical repairs
• Small engine maintenance and repair
• Vehicle and equipment maintenance
• Preventative maintenance tasks around buildings, greenhouses and grounds
• Troubleshoot and assist with HVAC irrigation and boiler systems (working knowledge preferred) Driving (Local Only):
• Deliver plant material to local wholesale customers
• Safely load, secure, and unload plant material to prevent damage during transport
• Inspect plant material at pickup and delivery to ensure quality and accuracy
• Perform routine vehicle checks and report any issues Qualifications
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record, ability to pass a DOT exam within first 30 days
• Experience in general maintenance or handyman work
• Light carpentry skills
• Familiarity with small engines and basic vehicle maintenance
• Working knowledge of HVAC systems preferred
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Strong problem-solving skills
