Facilities & Operations Technician Coastal Bay Asset Management Satellite Beach, FL Job Details Part-time $23 - $25 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Customer communication Landscape maintenance Outdoor work Property maintenance Driver's License Organizational skills Full Job Description Position Overview Coastal Bay Asset Management is seeking a professional, dependable, and service-oriented Facilities & Operations Technician to support the day-to-day operations ( Weekends Only ), policy enforcement, community projects, cleanliness, presentation, and functionality of community amenities and common areas. This role combines facility operations support, amenity oversight, and community support services to ensure residents and guests experience a clean, safe, organized, and welcoming environment. The Facilities & Operations Technician serves as a visible operational presence within the community and assists in maintaining Community Development District (CDD) property, including clubhouse facilities, fitness areas, pool amenities, grounds appearance, and operational continuity during management absences. This position is ideal for an individual who takes pride in maintaining high community standards and enjoys a combination of operational support, customer interaction, and hands-on facility care.
Key Responsibilities:
Community & Facility Operations Maintain the cleanliness, presentation, and operational readiness of community amenities and common areas Conduct regular walkthroughs of clubhouse facilities, fitness centers, pool areas, playgrounds, parks, sidewalks, and common spaces Support facility setup, organization, and cleanliness during community events or projects Assist with light maintenance tasks, pressure washing, painting touch-ups, and general facility upkeep Identify and report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, vandalism, or operational issues to management Ensure all community areas remain visually appealing, organized, and resident-ready Community Standards & Policy Enforcement Professionally and respectfully enforce CDD rules, regulations, and community policies Monitor amenity areas for compliance with posted rules and operational guidelines Observe and document parking, facility, or policy violations when necessary Serve as a visible and approachable operational presence within the community Assist with maintaining order, professionalism, and community expectations Grounds & Amenity Support Support overall grounds appearance through debris removal, light landscaping support, and cleanliness monitoring Service dog waste stations and ensure they remain stocked, clean, and operational Assist with maintaining outdoor furniture, pool areas, entrances, and amenity spaces Monitor community areas for cleanliness and presentation standards throughout each shift Resident & Vendor Interaction Interact professionally with residents, guests, vendors, and contractors Provide excellent customer service while maintaining professionalism and authority when needed Respond to resident questions and direct concerns to management when appropriate Support management with operational continuity during leadership absences Qualifications Previous experience in facilities, maintenance, groundskeeping, operations, hospitality, property management, or customer service preferred Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and manage responsibilities with minimal supervision Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to walk, stand, bend, lift (45 lbs), and perform physical tasks throughout the workday Strong communication, professionalism, and conflict-resolution skills Ability to maintain composure and professionalism while enforcing policies Reliable transportation and punctuality required Valid driver's license required Preferred Skills & Competencies Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Customer-service mindset with a professional presence Dependable, self-motivated, and solution-oriented Observational skills with the ability to document issues accurately Ability to balance hospitality, operations support, and policy enforcement Work Environment Primarily outdoor and community-based work environment Physical activity, including walking, lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods May involve weekend holidays or special event support, depending on community needs Why Join Coastal Bay Asset Management?
