About the
Role:
Are you an experienced project manager with a passion for construction, facilities optimization, and driving operational excellence? We are looking for a driven professional to join our Facilities Management group. In this dynamic role, you will be the driving force behind our building renovations, capital infrastructure improvements, and equipment installations. You will manage projects from cradle to grave, partnering with contractors and internal teams to support the expansion and relocation of our personnel and assets. What You Will Do:
Full-Lifecycle Project Management:
Oversee all phases of facilities projects, including requirement evaluation, estimating, scheduling, budget management, design oversight, and project close-out.
Contractor & Stakeholder Coordination:
Effectively manage and partner with contractors, vendors, and cross-functional teams (including Facilities Maintenance and Operations) to meet program requirements.
Design & Compliance Support:
Provide architectural design, construction management, and code compliance support.
Drive Efficiency:
Champion value engineering, cost improvements, and process efficiencies using business operating systems.
Financial Oversight:
Support the development of capital and expense budgets for the corporation.
Portfolio Management:
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ranging from large sole-responsibility initiatives to collaborative team efforts. What You Bring to the
Table:
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (or a related field) with 6+ years of experience, OR a Graduate Degree with 4+ years of prior related experience.
Technical Expertise:
Strong background facilitating the design and execution of architectural, electrical, and HVAC systems. Experience with both Design-Build and Design-Bid-Build projects.
Software Proficiency:
Hands-on experience with AutoCAD, MS Project, Estimating software, and Microsoft Office.
Blueprint Literacy:
Ability to work confidently with engineering blueprints, process specifications, and building layouts.
Regulatory Knowledge:
Deep understanding of applicable laws and codes, including OSHA, ADA, NFPA, NEC, EPA, and local Building Codes.
Clear Communication:
Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills to navigate a diverse and changing environment.
Clearance & Travel:
Must have the ability to obtain a US security clearance and be willing to travel up to 30% as needed.
