This role is responsible for managing building systems, preventative maintenance programs, contractor coordination, safety compliance, and facility improvement projects while ensuring company standards are consistently maintained. Key Responsibilities Oversee general facility maintenance including roofing, groundwater basins, housekeeping, utilities, and security systems. Supervise maintenance activities involving carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, HVAC, and general repairs. Conduct daily inspections of buildings, grounds, offices, common areas, landscaping, lighting, and overall property cleanliness. Coordinate and manage repairs for plumbing, air conditioning, facility equipment, and infrastructure systems. Implement and maintain preventative maintenance schedules. Troubleshoot HVAC systems, chillers, compressors, PLCs, and other mechanical/electrical equipment; recommend corrective actions as needed. Ensure compliance with fire safety regulations, sprinkler systems, and overall facility safety standards. Complete and maintain accurate service request documentation in a timely manner. Maintain company facilities, vehicles, and equipment according to company standards. Coordinate and supervise contractors and external service providers. Oversee garbage collection, recycling programs, wastewater permits, and monthly county reporting requirements. Manage capital improvement and facility upgrade projects. Support and uphold BRC Hygiene Standards with a focus on product safety. Promote company environmental sustainability and energy efficiency initiatives. Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned. Qualifications & Requirements 3-5 years of supervisory experience in facilities maintenance, construction, or a related field. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Business Management, or a related discipline preferred but not required.
Strong working knowledge of:
Hydraulics and pneumatics Electrical systems and PLCs HVAC systems Carpentry and welding Machining and fabrication Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Skills Experience managing contractors and facility vendors. Knowledge of safety regulations, environmental compliance, and maintenance best practices. Ability to lead teams and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Pay:
$80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
