Job Description

LifeLine Ambulance Illinois - We are seeking a detail-oriented Facility AR Revenue Cycle Collections Supervisor to manage the billing and collections of facility invoices. In this role, you will be responsible for strategizing and executing the recovery of aged facility receivables, focusing on accounts that exceed the 60-day threshold. Key Responsibilities •
A/R Optimization:
Target and resolve unpaid claims exceeding 60 days from the date of service, ensuring previously submitted claims are reviewed every 30 days. Proactively monitor and escalate unresolved claims to ensure timely reimbursement. •
Communication:
Act as a liaison between clients, payers, patients, and internal staff to facilitate resolution. Serves as the primary escalation point for facility disputes. •
Performance Reporting:
Analyze A/R trends and patterns to provide senior leadership with actionable insights and monthly financial health summaries. Required Qualifications •
Experience:
3-5 years of progressive experience in revenue cycle collections is required, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead capacity. Previous experience in EMS billing is highly preferred. •
Technical Knowledge:
Expert proficiency in CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding and a comprehensive understanding of government (Medicare/Medicaid) and commercial payer regulations. •
Software Skills:
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data analysis) and billing/EHR systems. Core Competencies •

Ability to recognize A/R trends, multi-task, and solve complex billing problems independently. •

Ability to motivate a diverse team, manage workload distribution, and foster a positive, high-productivity work environment.
