Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the optimal functioning of our facilities. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct routine inspections of buildings and equipment to identify maintenance needs. Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other systems. Paining, light carpentry, maintance of the floors. Troubleshoot and repair various equipment and building systems. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and management. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work performed and materials used. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Assist with facility improvements and renovations as needed. Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment. Collaborate with external contractors for specialized maintenance tasks. Participate in on-call rotation for emergency repairs outside regular hours.Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications are a plus. Proven experience as a facilities maintenance technician or similar role. Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and safety guidelines. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs). Ability to climb ladders and work at heights. Willingness to work in varying environmental conditions (e.g., outdoors, confined spaces).Similar remote jobs
