Adjunct Instructor of English Description Eastern Oklahoma State College is a comprehensive community college providing instruction in a wide range of curricula. We are currently seeking a qualified Psychology/Sociology/Child Development Instructor.

Required Qualifications:

Master's degree in English, or related field with 18 graduate hours in English or related field; candidates pursuing a master's degree may be considered with the understanding that the degree must be completed expeditiously Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Commitment to the mission of Eastern Oklahoma State College Other related duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications:

Ph.D. in English or related field, prior college teaching experience, developing and instructing courses with technology-based delivery methods

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will teach courses in English Composition Responsibilities include teaching up to 6 credits each semester Position requires teaching online. Candidates selected for interview will be required to make a teaching presentation as part of the interview process. Teaching must demonstrate a learner-centered philosophy and the ability to engage and retain students.

Salary:

$1350.00 per course.
