Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that incorporate faith-based principles, early intervention strategies, literacy education, and childhood development best practices. Engage children in educational activities that promote social-emotional skills, behavior management, and physical development, including teaching physical education and toddler care. Manage classroom environments to ensure safety, cleanliness, and an atmosphere conducive to learning and spiritual growth through effective classroom management techniques. Foster positive relationships with children and their families through clear communication skills, regular updates on progress, and encouragement of family involvement in learning activities. Plan lessons that integrate innovative educational approaches to enhance literacy, math skills, and overall cognitive development. Maintain accurate records of student progress and classroom observations to support ongoing development. Qualifications Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, private school settings or similar environments is highly preferred. Knowledge of childhood development theories, classroom management techniques, and early childhood education standards. Familiarity with curriculum development tools and lesson planning for diverse age groups including toddlers and preschoolers. Experience working with children who have special needs or are involved in early intervention programs is a plus. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and engage families positively. Certification or training in early childhood education or Montessori methods is desirable; ongoing professional development encouraged. Ability to create a nurturing environment that promotes successful child development skills while managing multiple responsibilities confidently.
