About the Position The Family Minister plays a key role in helping FCC Borden raise up healthy, Christ-centered families. This role is focused on discipleship through team-building —developing strong volunteer teams and sustainable systems that help children and students grow in their faith. Position Details Full-time, salaried $38,000-$45,000 based on experience Reports to the Senior Minister and works with the Elders 2 weeks paid vacation (3 weeks after 3 years) 403(b) with 4% match Key Responsibilities Children's Ministry (Birth-6th Grade) Lead and organize Sunday morning children's ministry Equip families to disciple their children at home Plan quarterly events (VBS, Easter, etc.) Recruit and develop volunteer teams Engage with Lifewise as a ministry partner Student Ministry (7th-12th Grade) Lead weekly youth group (Sundays at 4:30 PM) Build a strong, Christ-centered student community Create opportunities for students to grow and serve Plan quarterly events Additional Responsibilities Assist with pastoral care as needed Engage with local schools appropriately Partner with Wonder Valley Christian Camp Preach periodically (Youth Sundays and when needed)

What We're Looking For A growing and vibrant relationship with Jesus Agreement with FCC Borden's doctrinal statement Passion for discipling children, students, and families A team-builder who develops and leads volunteers well Strong communication and organizational skills Bachelor's degree (preferred, not required) Final Note We're looking for someone who is passionate about discipleship and understands that lasting ministry impact happens through investing in people, not doing everything alone.
