Family Nurse Practitioner

Family Nurse Practitioner This position is located at the Bacon County Community Care Center which is owned and operated by Bacon County Hospital & Health Systems, Inc. The Nurse Practitioner shall provide health services consisting of health promotions, health screening, management, and treatment of acute episodic illness and management and treatment of stable chronic diseases. This person may order appropriate drugs, lab work, x-rays, medical devices, medical treatments, and diagnostic studies, when necessary, in the management and treatment of such acute illnesses or stable chronic illnesses. This position requires that the applicant be licensed from an accredited school, have a current license, and have at least 5 years OF experience as a Nurse Practitioner. DOT certification is preferred. Applicant must also be able to work independently, work well with other staff, and use current computer systems proficiently. This position is fulltime Monday thru Thursday, 8a to 5p, and Friday, 8a to 2p.
