Hourly starting at $60/hour Paid time off CME allowance RVU Bonus potential Duties Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, physical exams and health histories. Manage chronic conditions, such as Diabetes, Hypertension, Hyperlipidemia, etc. Accurately diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions. Appropriately prescribe medications and necessary treatments for chronic and acute diseases. Perform medical procedures as necessary. Provide education for health management and disease prevention. Facilitate referrals to other health care professionals and facilities. Utilize ICD-10 coding for proper documentation of diagnoses and treatments. Stay updated on best practices in patient care. Maintain patient medical records. Qualifications Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Virginia. Experience in outpatient care and chronic disease management. Advanced knowledge of treatment and drug interactions. Patient centered approach to healthcare. Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, with a focus on patient education. Familiarity with coding systems, particularly ICD-10. Strong attention to detail.
