Family Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)

## Job Overview We are seeking a

FULL TIME

dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner OR Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team of one Physician and three medical assistants. The ideal candidate will provide primary care services to patients of all ages, focusing on health promotion, disease prevention, and managing chronic conditions. ## Duties

• Schedule is 4-5 days per week. Pay is based on experience and production.
• Conduct comprehensive physical assessments and medical histories
• Diagnose and treat common acute illnesses and injuries
• Manage chronic health conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and asthma
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests
• Prescribe medications and treatments
• Educate patients on maintaining a healthy lifestyle and disease prevention strategies
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care
• Accept after hours phone calls on rotating schedule of every other week (phone calls only).

Qualifications NP:

• Current valid Nurse Practitioner license
• Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)

PA:

• Current valid Physician Assistant license
• Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)
• DEA License; Controlled Substance License;
• Preferably 1 year of experience working in a primary care setting (Urgent Care or Family Medicine) but not necessary.
• Proficiency in medical documentation systems/EMR
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology
• People-oriented and social skills required.

Pay:
