Fit Test & Respirator Clearance Required Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and dependable Farm Equipment Operator / Pesticide Spray Technician to support daily agricultural operations for an R D farm focused on open field crop production and maintenance. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating tractors, applying pesticides safely and effectively, and maintaining farm equipment, irrigation systems, and fields. Key Responsibilities Operate tractors and other farm equipment for field preparation, cultivation, and maintenance activities. Perform pesticide and chemical spray applications in accordance with safety regulations and farm procedures. Conduct routine maintenance and minor repairs on tractors, farm machinery, irrigation systems, and field equipment. Assist with open field crop growing activities including planting, irrigation, and field upkeep. Monitor equipment performance and report mechanical issues promptly. Ensure compliance with safety standards, PPE requirements, and environmental regulations. Maintain accurate records of pesticide applications, equipment maintenance, and operational activities. Support general farm operations as needed to ensure efficient daily workflow. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience operating tractors and agricultural equipment. Previous pesticide spray/application experience required. Knowledge of farm operations, irrigation systems, and field maintenance practices. Ability to safely handle agricultural chemicals and wear required respirator equipment. Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform basic equipment maintenance. Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Valid driver's license preferred. Physical Requirements Ability to lift, carry, and move agricultural equipment and materials. Must be able to work outdoors for extended periods. Ability to pass fit test and respirator screening requirements.
