Description Milroy Farms is a working farm whose primary industry is the production of pure maple syrup, making of its by-products, and retail of said syrup and products. The sugar operation is a 14,000-tap operation with modern technologies such as vacuum systems on over ¾ of our trees, a reverse osmosis machine, oil fired evaporator pan, and digital monitoring systems that can track vacuum flow and tank levels. The farm's other industry includes producing hay and boarding horses. We are currently seeking a full or part-time employee as a farm hand. Salary and benefits are negotiable. Candidate must be able to complete the manual/ physical aspects of the job; be comfortable with basic aspects of farming, basic carpentry, mechanical aptitude, some animal care, working outdoors, some customer interactions; willingness to be versatile in work environment; self-directed after training. Work is divided by about 65% Maple related; 35% other farm chore work related. Ideally looking for full time 5-6 days a week, some weekend work during busy seasons such as Maple Season or Hay making time. The schedule is flexible in hours and days. A little heavier schedule for our busiest times of the year, specifically maple season and hay making. Will train in all aspects of the job. Additional Details How To Identify Potential Job Scams
