About Pine & Pepper Spice Shop Pine & Pepper is a Colorado Springs spice shop (formerly Savory Spice Colorado Springs) focused on helping people cook better food at home. We carry a wide variety of spices, blends, and pantry items and love sharing ideas for how to use them. Our farmers market booth is one of the best ways we meet new customers and introduce people to our spices. Position Overview Pine & Pepper Spice Shop is hiring a Farmers Market Sales Associate to run our booth at local farmers' markets on Saturdays during the market season. This role is responsible for transporting supplies, setting up and running the booth, engaging with customers, offering spice samples, and selling products throughout the market. You will represent Pine & Pepper in the community and help customers discover new spices and ways to cook with them. While our store carries more than 350 spices, the market booth typically features 10 to 15 selected spices and blends. Training will be provided so you can confidently explain how to use them. Schedule This is a seasonal position. Market season runs May 23 through October 17. Markets occur every Saturday during the season. Hours are approximately 6am-2pm Applicants must be available for most Saturdays during this period, with no more than four Saturdays unavailable. Training will take place in April at the Pine & Pepper store for a few days to learn the products and booth operations. Responsibilities Pick up booth supplies and inventory from the Pine & Pepper store before the market Transport supplies to the farmers market location Set up the full booth independently including tent, tables, signage, and product display Prepare and offer spice samples to customers Engage customers in conversation and explain how to use the spices in cooking Process sales and handle transactions Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting booth throughout the market Pack up the booth and return supplies to the store after the market Represent Pine & Pepper in a friendly and professional way

Qualifications Required:

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds Ability to independently set up and take down a farmers market booth Reliable transportation Strong communication skills and comfort talking with customers Availability for most Saturdays during the market season Dependable and punctual

Preferred:
