• FARM/PERFORMANCE MANAGER Hyde Farms, LLC is a grass-fed/grain finished beef (250-300 momma cows), and farrow-to-finish (30-40 sows) operation located in East Tennessee.

We raise Yorkshire-Hampshire hogs and Black Angus cattle on our family-owned farms, headquartered in beautiful Greenback, Tennessee. Operating on over 1,000 acres located in Loudon, Monroe and McMinn Counties. We are only an hour from Knoxville, Pigeon Forge and the Great Smoky Mountain National Park and 15 minutes from the world-renowned Tail of the Dragon. The Hiwassee and Tellico River trout fisheries are less than an hour away. We are the only beef and pork producing farm in Tennessee with our own modern fulltime USDA slaughter/processing plant on the farm; not only for our own animals, but USDA and custom slaughter for all the surrounding producers! So, when we say, " Straight from our stable, to your table," we mean it! We are personally involved in every step along the way to guarantee that when our customers buy Hyde Farms meat, they taste the difference! We have two retail stores, one on site and one satellite, in addition we have retail outlets in four counties and growing! In addition, we row crop 350 acres of corn, corn silage and soybeans and 300 acres of hay. We're looking to find someone that is highly motivated, can manage their time well, is willing to learn and can communicate well. This person must work well with others, and have the potential to grow with the farm. This is a hands-on position and is a relatively autonomous position and requires creative problem-solving. • Full-time farm manager for our Greenback and Etowah/Delano farms. The job entails the following regular responsibilities:
• Responsible for managing production while coordinating with Farm Owner to carry out projects and achieve goals in regard to day to day farm operations and production targets.
• Feeding and care of livestock, operating hay equipment, etc.
• Fence building and farm maintenance
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly.
• The ability to drive vehicles (farm trucks, tractors, UTV's) and trailering capabilities.
• The individual must be fluent in English and possess a valid driver's license.

Compensation:

$20+ hour based on experience and meeting performance targets. Benefits available can include housing, a company vehicle and discounts at our farm stores depending on applicant. We are looking for that person who desires to be vested in a family farm operation not just an employee. The anticipated start date is immediately.
