ORDER.Temporary work from:
6/1/26 - 2/28/27. Seasonal workers are needed to assist with hay production and cattle care during the employers busy calving season. Workers will perform a variety of duties related to hay field preparation, harvesting, and general ranch maintenance. Primary duties will be performed in hay fields and include planting, plowing, cutting, raking, and baling hay. Workers will operate tractors and various farm implements used in hay production. Workers may also operate trucks to transport hay bales from fields to barns or storage areas. Additional duties may include installing and/or repairing water lines, cleaning and repairing water troughs, repairing fences, and performing welding when necessary. Workers will also perform general ranch grounds maintenance including mowing, trimming, debris removal, and cleanup to maintain safe and orderly work areas. Workers will assist the employer with cattle and calf care during calving season. Duties may include helping vaccinate cattle, assisting with castration procedures, and feeding cattle and calves either by hand or with the use of feed trucks. All duties will be performed outdoors and workers must be able to perform physically demanding agricultural work in varying weather conditions. Drug screens are performed upon accident, incident, or suspicion, at the employers cost. Failure or refusal of a drug screen is grounds for immediate termination.Similar jobs in Batesville, TX
