Job Summary Join our dynamic culinary team as a Kitchen Staff member, where your energy and passion for food will help create memorable dining experiences! In this vital role, you will assist with food preparation, ensure food safety standards are met, and support the overall cleanliness and organization of the kitchen. Responsibilities Assist with food preparation by chopping, assembling, and portioning ingredients according to recipes and standards Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment to uphold food safety and hygiene standards Support cooking processes under supervision, ensuring timely delivery of dishes during service hours Handle food handling tasks responsibly, following all safety protocols to prevent contamination or spoilage Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing when needed Buss tables and support guest services by ensuring a clean dining environment and quick turnaround of tables Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy periods and special events like banquets Requirements Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory; eagerness to learn is essential Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety regulations Experience with food preparation, cooking, serving, and bussing in a hospitality setting Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and guests Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks involved in kitchen work Prior banquet or hotel kitchen experience is advantageous but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates Commitment to maintaining high standards of guest service, cleanliness, and safety throughout your shift Embark on a rewarding journey in the culinary world by becoming an integral part of our vibrant team.
