Job Description

F&B Lead Server Angel Fire Resort is looking for an F&B Lead Server to join our team at our fine dining restaurant, Elements. The Lead Server supports the Front of House Manager in running the day-to-day operations of the restaurant. Alongside and in the absence of the Front of House Manager, the Lead Server will ensure daily side work duties are completed by front of house staff, will assist in managing the flow of business during operating hours, will ensure food tickets are complete and delivered to tables in a timely manner, and will adhere to all food and alcohol serving laws. In this position, you will set the example of excellence in serving tables, assist in training servers, be very knowledgeable on the menu items, and will lead others to ensure the successful operation of business. Applicants must possess strong customer service skills, be able to communicate effectively, and be able to maintain a positive attitude in a demanding environment. This position will also occasionally assist with special events and projects.
Base Pay:
 $16/hr + tips

Experience:
 At least six months of successful serving or bartending experience is necessary. Lead Server/Supervisor experience preferred but not required.

https://www.angelfireresort.com/work-for-us/employee-benefits/ Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: (other duties may be assigned) Assist Manager in training and leading front of house staff Ensures restaurant opening and closing duties are completed by staff Becomes an expert on menu offerings and answers questions concerning cost and features of items Responds to customer complaints in a professional manner and works towards resolution under Manager's direction Assists in managing the flow of business during operating hours Provides excellent customer service and leads by example in serving patrons Takes food orders and utilizes POS system to place and record orders Relays order to kitchen and serves courses from kitchen and service bars Ensures food tickets are prepared properly and delivered to tables in a timely manner Totals bill and accepts payment, and assists other servers with transactions as needed Requests identification from customers when legal age is questioned regarding alcoholic service Follows alcohol serving policies as required by NM State Law Maintains clean and orderly working environment and follows proper sanitation procedures Reads and records totals shown on point-of-sale system and verifies against cash on hand Utilizes proper cash handling procedures Other associated tasks & duties as assigned
Environment:
 This is typically an indoor position. Must be able to stand, walk, and talk for entire shift and occasionally lift/carry 30lbs.
