Ability to pass federal background investigation About The Role A Federal FOIA/Privacy Act Lead is needed to lead FOIA and related records-disclosure activities for a federal agency. This role manages complex FOIA cases, ensures compliance with law and policy, and drives process improvements. Responsibilities Manage end-to-end processing of FOIA and Privacy Act requests, from intake through final response. Coordinate records searches with program offices and review documents for responsiveness. Apply FOIA and Privacy Act exemptions, perform redactions, and prepare response packages. Maintain case logs and documentation and track workflow and deadlines. Advise leadership and staff on FOIA requirements and provide training as needed. Qualifications Required Experience 5+ years of FOIA/Privacy Act experience in a federal or similar environment. Deep knowledge of FOIA, the Privacy Act, and exemption application. Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail. Excellent writing skills for responses and documentation. Work Authorization U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the U.S. and able to pass a federal background check. Salary

• $99,000
• $110,000 LCAT
