Overview J&M National Inc is an Independent Contractor for FedEx out of the Middleboro terminal. We are seeking a reliable and professional FedEx Delivery Driver to join our team. This role involves delivering packages efficiently and safely to customers while providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience with commercial driving, route driving, and handling various delivery equipment. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, utilizing your driving skills and physical strength to ensure timely deliveries. If you have experience in delivery driving and a passion for providing exceptional service, we want to hear from you. Responsibilities Safely operate a delivery vehicle, including box trucks, while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. Load and unload goods from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling and securing of items. Plan and follow efficient routes for timely deliveries, utilizing GPS or maps as necessary. Provide exceptional customer service during interactions with clients, ensuring their satisfaction with the delivery process. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and any issues encountered during transport. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability Skills Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably with FedEx or similar logistics companies. Strong knowledge of route driving and navigation skills. Customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Ability to lift heavy packages repeatedly and perform physical tasks such as moving and heavy lifting. Warehouse experience is advantageous for loading/unloading operations. Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and prioritize deliveries accurately. Qualifications Must be at least 24 years old. Need a valid driver License and have clean motor vehicle record. Need to be able to work 2 days of Weekends. Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is a plus. Must pass drug and criminal background check. Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients.
