Feed Mill Operator Driver (CDL)

Alliance Ag & Grain is hiring Feed Operators with a CDL for Lewis to perform the activities pertaining to the receiving, storing, delivering, and shipping of Feed for the Location.

Position Requirements and Qualifications:

• Operates a semi-truck according to applicable state and federal transportation laws.
• Transports loads safely and in a timely manner over required route, obeying all traffic laws and observing all safety regulations.
• Maneuvers truck and trailer into loading and unloading areas.
• Assists with loading of or loads and unloads goods and materials.
• Maintains required DOT paperwork as appropriate.
• Conducts standard DOT truck inspection.
• Facilitates routine service on trucks, which may include checking oil, water, gasoline, and air; and reports maintenance malfunctions to management.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to speak professionally and courteously with customers and staff at delivery points.
• Must hold required Commercial Driver's License (CDL) class A.
• All other duties as assigned.

Physical/Work Environment:

• The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds.
• May frequently need to climb ladders (may range from 20' to 180') and stairs.
• Frequently exposed to grain dust, moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles; outside weather conditions; extreme cold and extreme heat; toxic or caustic chemicals; and vibration.
