Feed Truck Driver

We are seeking an experienced Feed Truck Driver to join our team. As a Feed Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering finished feed products. If you have a valid commercial driver's license (CDL) and a strong work ethic, we want to hear from you.

Feed Truck Driver Job Summary:

The Feed Truck Driver is responsible for transporting and delivering finished feed products safely and punctually. This role involves operating a feed truck, maintaining delivery records, conducting truck inspections, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Additionally, the Feed Truck Driver may assist with operational duties as needed to support efficient production.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate a feed truck to distribute predetermined quantities of feed according to established guidelines and schedules. Maintain accurate delivery records and communicate effectively with supervisors for delivery instructions. Load and unload the truck, ensuring cleanliness of compartments to prevent contamination. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, including checks on tires, lights, brakes, fuel, oil, and water levels. Assist the feed mill operator as required, contributing to an efficient production process. Maintain cleanliness of truck interiors and exteriors to uphold a positive company image. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, including certifications required by DOT, OSHA, and company safety programs. Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED equivalent. Valid Class A CDL with appropriate endorsements and a current DOT physical. Strong customer service skills with a commitment to excellence. Ability to comprehend and follow written and verbal instructions.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, climb, and balance. Good vision, including close vision, distance vision, and depth perception. Ability to lift and move up to 100 pounds, with or without assistance. Willingness to work in adverse weather conditions, including extreme heat or cold.
