This role is critical in ensuring our events are produced efficiently, safely, and professionally from initial preparation through on-site execution. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, has strong leadership and logistical skills, and is comfortable managing both warehouse operations and on-site event production responsibilities. This is not a desk-only position — we are looking for someone who leads by example, can problem-solve under pressure, and takes pride in maintaining operational excellence. Travel and weekend availability during event season are required. Key Responsibilities Warehouse Operations Receive, inspect, and organize incoming deliveries and shipments Maintain accurate inventory of all event equipment, supplies, and materials Track equipment usage, losses, damages, and replacement needs Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and storage environment Coordinate loading and unloading of trucks for events Ensure proper storage and protection of company assets and equipment Event Production & Logistics Lead event set-up and breakdown operations on-site at festivals and events Coordinate transportation and logistics for equipment and supplies Schedule and manage event labor crews and temporary staff Ensure event equipment is delivered, installed, and operational on time Troubleshoot operational issues during events as they arise Assist with overall event production execution and operational planning Coordinate and book third-party event rentals such as tents, fencing, forklifts, etc. Communicate with vendors to confirm delivery schedules, setup requirements, and pickup logistics Transportation & Logistics Safely operate company vehicles including pickup trucks, trailers, and 26-foot box trucks Tow trailers containing event equipment and supplies to and from event sites Transport equipment, supplies, and materials to and from event locations nationwide Assist with loading plans and securing cargo for safe transportation Conduct basic vehicle, trailer, and equipment inspections before and after trips Coordinate transportation schedules to ensure timely event setup and breakdown Maintain cleanliness and organization of company vehicles and trailers Equipment & Maintenance Oversee servicing, maintenance, and repair of company equipment including Tents, Generators, Cooking Equipment, Tables, Signage, and Event Infrastructure Maintain maintenance schedules and service records Identify and coordinate replacement or repair needs Ensure equipment is event-ready and functioning properly at all times Purchasing & Supply Management Order supplies and materials needed for festivals, events, and warehouse operations Monitor inventory levels to avoid shortages Work with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely purchasing and deliveries Manage cost-conscious procurement practices while maintaining operational quality Leadership & Team Management Supervise warehouse staff and event labor teams Train staff on warehouse procedures, equipment handling, and safety practices Promote accountability, teamwork, and efficiency Assist ownership and operations leadership with improving systems and workflows Help foster a positive, hardworking, and solution-oriented team culture Qualifications Previous warehouse, logistics, event production, or operations management experience preferred Experience in festivals, live events, hospitality, catering, or entertainment industries is a strong plus Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to lead teams in fast-paced environments Mechanically inclined and comfortable troubleshooting equipment Forklift experience is required Ability to safely tow trailers using company trucks is required Ability to drive a 26-foot box truck is required Clean driving record preferred Valid driver's license required (CDL is a plus but not required) Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work long hours during event weekends Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions Strong communication and problem-solving skills Preferred Traits Self-starter with a strong work ethic Calm under pressure Detail-oriented Reliable and punctual Team player with leadership capability Flexible schedule, including nights and weekends during event season Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary based on experience Opportunity for growth within a rapidly expanding national event company Travel opportunities Fast-paced, energetic work environment Opportunity to help produce some of the country's top food and entertainment festivals About A Taste of Your Town A Taste of Your Town is a national festival production and marketing company producing large-scale food, beverage, and entertainment events across the country.
