Fiber Splicer

Corn Belt Fiber Solutions is looking to add to our growing team in Prairie City! We are seeking a dependable, experienced, and safety-focused Fiber Splicer who takes pride in their work. This position is responsible for splicing, testing, and troubleshooting cables ranging in size from 2 count up to 1728 count. This position will require travel to Des Moines metro job locations in company-provided vehicle and 30% overnight travel throughout Iowa with hotel and per diem included where applicable.

Position Requirements:

Applicants must have and maintain a valid driver's license and pass a pre-employment drug screen Ability to work overnight fiber maintenances when needed Ability to read and decipher construction prints and drawings Ability to work in multiple environments and weather climates Ability to work at heights up to 40 feet 1+ year of fiber splicing experience required

5 paid holidays + 2 weeks paid during Christmas & New Year's Home every weekend 1 week PTO after 60 days Company-provided vehicle and tools

Pay:

$20.00 - $35.00 per hour
