Field Deployment Technician

Candidates must be comfortable traveling site to site (mileage reimbursement is included) Description Major client of TEKsystems is looking to hire 4 Lead Desktop Technicians to come Lead a Imaging and Hardware rollout. The technicians will be responsible for doing the following. 1.

MDT/MECM

imaging experience. They need to have actually used Microsoft Deployment Toolkit or Endpoint Configuration Manager — OR a tool similar. 2. They Must have Lead experience leading a Hardware deployment and asset management. Staging, labeling, swapping, documenting — they need to be comfortable with the full lifecycle of physical hardware in a field environment. 3. ServiceNow proficiency. Mut be able to log tickets accurately and completely — site, asset ID, actions taken, outcome. 4. Ability to work independently under pressure. Conversion weekend and stabilization week are high-stakes, fast-moving environments. These techs will be dispatched from a Command and Control Center and need to troubleshoot, swap, and resolve with minimal hand-holding. Skills networking, cabling, testing, Hardware, Imaging, Assets, Asset inventory, Inventory management, Support, Desktop, Troubleshooting Additional Skills & Qualifications Strong work ethic, can do attitude and good communication. Experience Level Intermediate Level Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Oak Ridge, NJ 07438. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $30.00/hr.
