About the Company My client is an established design/build General Contractor specializing in large-scale vertical construction and site development. They're known for high-quality workmanship and a strong safety culture, delivering projects across sectors including sports/entertainment, mission-critical, healthcare, cold-storage, etc. They're seeking a Field Engineer experienced with ground-up construction to join their team. About the Role This role is ideal for someone with at least 2+ years of field experience, who is looking to grow within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The Field Engineer will play a key role in coordinating field operations, managing documents and supporting project controls to ensure a successful project delivery. Assist Project Managers and Superintendents in all phases of construction Support the coordination and installation of underground utilities (water, sewer, storm systems) Prepare and manage submittals, RFIs, and project documentation Track project progress, schedules, and budgets Perform quantity takeoffs and assist with cost tracking and forecasting Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and field crews Participate in site visits to monitor work progress, safety compliance, and quality standards Assist in resolving field issues and ensuring alignment with project plans and specifications Maintain accurate project records and reports Rewards and Benefits In addition to base salary my client offers a full benefits package and can provide stability and career progression through a healthy pipeline of work. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field 2+ years of experience in construction, preferably in heavy civil or site development Experience with underground utilities (water, sewer, drainage systems) strongly preferred Understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and project sequencing Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, HCSS, Bluebeam) Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to work both in the field and office environments INDHSimilar remote jobs
