Job Description
Snelling is currently recruiting an experienced Field Foreman with low-voltage systems experience for an Engineering company in the Trafford area. Seeking an experienced and hands-on foreman to lead installation crews and oversee field operations for industry-leading perimeter security projects.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday. Weekends as needed (primarily when on a job site)Pay:
$28.00-38.00/hrTravel:
Travel up to 60% to job sites nationwide. Opportunity for global travel. Responsibilities forField Foreman:
Supervise and direct installation crews on active construction sites, ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards Lead the installation, maintenance, and commissioning of low-voltage electrical systems, vehicle barriers, gates, and related safety devices Conduct daily toolbox talks, enforce jobsite safety protocols, and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations Read and interpret project drawings, electrical schematics, and specifications to plan and execute work Manage crew schedules, material logistics, and on-site inventory to maintain project timelines Perform quality control inspections and maintain detailed daily reports, timesheets, and project documentation Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in the field, escalating to engineering when necessary Required Qualifications forField Foreman:
Minimum 5 years of experience in low-voltage electrical systems, industrial controls, or related trade Minimum 2 years of experience supervising crews on construction job sites Demonstrated ability to manage daily field operations, including crew coordination, scheduling, and progress tracking Ability to read and interpret electrical control prints, schematics, and construction drawings Strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience in industrial maintenance and installation Proficiency in detecting electrical malfunctions using precision measuring instruments Familiarity with E&I (Electrical and Instrumentation) practices and procedures Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Candidates with any of the following are strongly preferred: OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety certification Commercial construction experience Commercial HVAC systems experience Access control systems experience Commercial slide gate operators experience Experience working on active construction sites with multiple trades First Aid / CPR certification Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus Prior experience in the perimeter security or physical security industryBenefits:
