Job Description

Agriland Farming Company, Inc., located in the Central San Joaquin Valley of California, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Field Foreman to work in our diversified operations. This hands-on leadership position will be responsible for supervising field personnel, coordinating equipment, ensuring high-quality crop production, and maintaining safety standards. Candidates should sincerely enjoy farming; have at a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in crop production or similar field work, and with at least 2-4 years in a leadership role. Bilingual in English/Spanish is required. Agriland is a vertically integrated, full-service farm management firm dedicated to provide "turnkey" client services and first-class quality farming services unmatched in the industry. The company farms more than 30,000 acres of Almonds, Pistachios, Grapes, and Citrus. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Responsible for supporting the Division Supervisor in all aspects of the operation. Oversee, direct and coordinate employees in daily farming activities, such as irrigation, fertilizing, chemical application, cultivating, harvesting, payroll and record keeping Train/instruct and supervise farm workers Motivate and develop people as they work, identifying the best people for the job Make sure that work progresses adequately and safely Ensure compliance with government regulations and health and safety standards Inspect orchards and fields to determine maturity of crops or to estimate potential crop damage from weather Keep an up-to-date knowledge of pests and diseases Organize maintenance/repair of farm property, equipment and machinery Operate within budget and maintain accurate financial records Handle paperwork and keep administrative records Participate in continuing education opportunities Work Requirements Work with others in a group or team Coordinate or lead others in accomplishing work activities Must be available to work extended days and hours during season (approximately July through October) and as otherwise necessary Wear common protective or safety equipment and make sure all employees do as well Must have valid driver's license and good DMV record
