Field Harvest Crew Member on Organic Vegetable Farm

We are in need of helpers in our field crew for planting, maintaining and harvesting fruits and vegetables. Responsibilities vary from planting, weeding, harvesting, packaging, and potentially selling at farmers markets. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. We currently have 20+ acres of gardens and provide produce for the local area, Omaha and Des Moines area stores, CSA memberships, farmer's markets, Iowa Food Coop, and our online store. Full and Part-time hours available with flexible scheduling. Showing up on time for work and being responsible to see tasks to completion is very important. It is peaceful work in harmony with nature. Easy going atmosphere with a fun attitude towards the work. Take home free produce and eggs for you and your family. Free plants for your own use. Help us to maintain food security in our local systems by providing fresh, organic fruits and veggies and gain the experience you need to become self-sustainable with your own garden. Wage $12-20 hour/depending on experience, reliability and performance.
